Terms and Conditions of Hire Individual Event and Recurring

Individual Event
1. The agreed deposit is non-refundable and is to be paid prior to booking status being confirmed
2. The balance of the hire fee is due 14 days before the event date
3. Provisional bookings will be held for a period of 14 days after which the date/time will be automatically released
4. Cancellation by the Hirer
The following charges are payable in the case of cancellation
a) Up to 15 days prior to event – deposit will be retained
b) Up to 14 days prior to event – full hire charge is payable
c) Less than 14 days prior to event – full hire charge plus £100
5. Cancellation by the Club
The club may cancel the booking
a) If the club, or any part of it is closed due to fire, alteration, dispute or by order of any public authority
b) If the Hirer does not make payments as per the conditions above
c) If the event might prejudice the reputation of the club
All cancellations or amendments must be confirmed in writing
6. The Hirer is responsible for cleaning the facilities used, including stacking chairs and putting away tables.
Alternatively the club may agree a fee with the Hirer to clean, stack chairs and put away the tables used after
the event on the Hirers behalf.
7. The Hirer is responsible for the cost of any additional cleaning that may be required, such as to remove vomit and/or diarrhoea
8. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure any use of the kitchen meets the necessary Health & Safety and Environmental requirements. The Club does not accept any liability or responsibility should any guest become ill due to food served by the Hirer
9. The club will NOT accept bookings for 18th birthday parties. Should it become apparent that a booking is actually for an 18th the booking will be cancelled and any money paid will NOT be refundable
10. The club will not be responsible for the damage/loss of any articles left in the club prior to, during or following the event.
11. The club will not be responsible for the damage/loss of any vehicles parked in the clubs car park either before, during or following the event or if the vehicles are left overnight
12. The Hirer will be liable for the cost of any repairs required as a result of any damage caused to any part of the club by the negligence, wilful act or default of any person attending the event
13. The affixing of signs, displays and posters must be approved by the Club in advance
14. All events must conclude promptly at the agreed time. As a matter of licensing all bars will close at 11:00pm, except with prior agreement. All guests must vacate the club by midnight except with prior agreement
15. It is the responsibility of parent(s)/guardian(s) to supervise their children. The Club does not accept duty of care for children. In the event of any concerns over behaviour the Club may take appropriate action
16. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to maintain order with their guests. In the event of any concerns over the behaviour of guests the Club may take appropriate action
Recurring Bookings

1. Hire fees are invoiced monthly and due within 14 days after receipt
2. Cancellation by the Hirer
The following charges are payable in the case of cancellation
a) Up to 15 days prior to event – no charge is payable
b) Up to 14 days prior to event – full hire charge is payable
3. Cancellation by the Club
The club may cancel the booking
a) If the club, or any part of it is closed due to fire, alteration, dispute or by order of any public authority
